We will cross through the rolling green hills while viewing beautiful Bavarian landscapes; driving by onion dome churches into the Alps. Reaching the highest point of the German Auto bond system, before descending to the lake of Chiemsee.

Herren Chiemsee, a Bavarian Versailles; really unbelievable! Today we will drive to the lake of Chiemsee then get on a boat and go to the Herren Isle and the Frauen Isle (Men’s island & Ladies Island).
King Ludwig II last and most spectacular castle was built on this island with it many fountains and the detailed Ludwig Museum, which is a must for all interested in this famous Bavarian King. ( I am privileged to be a registered guide here)

On these two small island you will find much to see and do, along with many panoramic scenes on this tour. We can take a second boat trip over to the neighboring island, where you may also have lunch.
The second island was first settled in 300 AD by the roman’s is called the Frauen Island, it has an ancient Nunnery (which is the oldest in Germany) and a small Museum. 
In 30 minutes you can have a delightful walk around the entire island ending at the pier where you may board the boat back to the main land, and your drive back to Munich.
