17. Romantic Road to Dinkelsbühl and Rothenburg o.d. Tauber.

We will drive down parts of the Romantic road leaving the main tourist route to Dinkelsbühl, which is one of Germany’s oldest romantic medieval villages.

After a walk through the cobble stone streets of Dinkelsbühl we will continue on to the world famous walled city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

The middle ship and choir of the Gothic Church of St. George; dating back to 1170 AD, in Dinkelsbühl.

See the Mother of God in the Ray of Glory! 1650 AD and on the west entrance of the church there is the Man in Pain 1480/90 and the Rieger-Organ.

Dinkelsbühl was the cross-roads between Worms to Prague. Now this charming tiny city is one of the real jewels of the Romantic Road that I love to visit.

We will arrive in time for lunch in Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
In Rothenburg are regular guided tours in english, or we can tour on our own.
