Memorable visit to Germany and Austria
John helped us plan our recent visit to Germany and Austria and the beautiful Alps, both before we left and during our travels. He was mindful of our interests and helped us balance what we thought we could accomplish in one day, and what was more realistic!
John is an excellent historian, a very interesting story-teller, and an expert at navigating the roads in Germany and Austria. The lack of a language barrier was a plus for us. Many thanks, John, for a very memorable trip!

Best Bavarian Experience and Tour
So glad we found Johns Bavarian Tours while planning our trip at home. We didn’t want to lose time and money with bus tour, train, taxi but wanted a more direct and personalize experience which John filled to over flowing.
Corresponding with John from home was very ez, informative, and friendly. We agreed upon Neuschwanstein-Hohenschwangue Castle from the little town below, stop at small town with beautiful church, must see, and lunch on the way to Linderhof, which we did tour, glad we did and John got us there in perfect timing to see the large fountain show off it’s splendor. From the time we met John in the lobby of our hotel, we were early but he was earlier and waiting, was professional and friendly. His tour vehicle a beautiful Mercedes van was spotless and well maintained felt very safe and he is a great safe driver.
While traveling to our different destinations John was an excellent historian with a wealth of information about the sites.. funny fact, the tour guides information at Linderhof was pretty much what John had told us on the way there..in fact he even didn’t mention some of what John told us..haha.

I would highly recommend Johns Bavarian Tours to anyone who wants a worry free, profesional, courteous and friendly experience.

Just got home from our trip to Germany and Austria
We had Christian for our tour of the Castles, the palace, some towns, and a swim in an Alpine lake. Christian was great and we learned a lot. Great guy.
The tour was fantastic and my wife and I are so glad we booked a private tour instead of a large group bus tour. We got to see and do things that we would not have been able to do with any group tour. Christian was patient and we did not feel rushed.
I want to thank you (John) for your clear communication with us from the very beginning and please pass on my sincere thanks to Christian for all his time and patience. Let Christian know the children got to do an Alpine coaster in Salzburg.
