Thanks again, John,
for the exceptional service you provided on our recent trip to Munich. YOUR SERVICES WERE SUPERB !!
I especially appreciate the special customization you provided for us during the five days we utilized your knowledgeable, personalized tour services visiting the many places we wished to see in Bavaria, Germany and Salzburg, Austria.
All of the wonderful first class restaurants you arranged for us to indulge in, in each city, were absolutely superb, and my wife and I are still reliving the fine epicurean experiences as well as the ambiance and history of each one.
Again, I can't thank you enough for providing my wife and I the most memorable vacation we have enjoyed together in many years.
We wish you good health, and continuing success in your specialized tour business.
With warmest regardds,

John,
I wanted to thank you again for the very enjoyable day we spent with you going to Neuschwanstein and the Linderhof.
Seeing the inside of Neuschwanstein was the fulfillment of a childhood dream for my husband. And it was very enlightening then to see Ludwig's earlier, completed castle, the Linderhof. The earlier Linderhof is a relatively modestly sized jewel box of over the top baroque when compared with the later full blown Mediaval grandioseness of Neuschwanstein.
You can really understand why Ludwig's advisor were getting worried at the direction he was taking.
And including the drive through the Bavarian Alps to Austria for lunch was a treat we didn't expect and were very much pleased with, including the delicious lunch.
Thank you again for a wonderful day.

John,
I'm speaking for myself and very my brother Lee and my dear friend Scotty when I say:
"We had a great time in Munich and you provided a level of service during our two days of Bavarian touring under your guidance which enhanced our experience by an order of magnitude! I do not know how we could have picked a better professional driver and tour guide than you, as skilled as you are in English and German, as knowledgeable of German history, geography, road system, landmarks, tour venues, and as established with your contacts at hotels, restaurants and tour sites! We will highly recommend you to others at every opportunity and we hope we can meet you again in the years to come."

Lastly, I apologize for pouncing on you at the last minute as we did. Of course, we would never had known what we missed, if you had not been available, but we know now and cannot imagine what such an impoverished vacation that would have been without Hohenschwanngau, the restaurant by the Weiße Kirche, St. Peter's Restaurant in Salzburg, the castle in Berchtesgaden (all things you recommended), and, of course, the flow of commentary all through the trip.
As you see, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and we enjoyed you, too!

Auf Wiedersehen!

John,
We arrived back in the States safe and sound. We are still trying to recover from jet lag but starting to get back to normal.
We had a wonderful trip and appreciated your professional approach. We saw so many things that at this time everything is kind of a blur. Life is about family, friends, and memories.
As a result of the trip, we now have many new memories.

Many thanks for making my parents and sisters day special on our trip to Berchtesgaden and Salzburg.
It was a first class service and you were even able to help us with our odd request of \'where to by wool\'
Looking forward to seeing you again as I have no doubt I will be making a trip to Munich again and it would not be the same without an excursion with Johns Bavarian Tours.

Go raibh mile maith agat agus bheith faichilleach.

Dear John,
Thanks again for the wonderful tour of the castles. You were most informative and enjoyable, I would love to return someday.
I also found your driving skills to be excellent! The train station in Munich was somewhat challenging as there were no words printed in English which surprised me. In certain ways Germany is very modern and other ways not

John
I was hoping to see places that my parents had lived in or visited in Ampfing in 1945-1949, but to have the opportunity to meet people who knew them went beyond words.
Your initiative in doing research before we arrived in Germany led to a reunion with people who knew my parents more than 60 years ago. This was such a thrill for all of us.
Thanks for making this reunion possible.

Hi John
My visit to Germany was for the primary purpose of taking part in the Berlin Marathon on 28 Sep 2008 and thereafter to visit places of interest within the brief stay in Germany.
Besides the historical sites of Berlin and stories surrounding the berlin wall and the war, I was keen to know more about the concentration camps during the World War 2. And the name that came up in the course of my search was the Dachau Concentration Camp which is located in Munich. I would usually explore the places of interest in a country on my own but speaking no german it was important I sought out the services of a good guide who will take care of my itinerary needs.
John Wetstone's name came out prominently on the travel website of Germany (Munich) and he was the only English speaking guide available and thus the decision was made to engage him for the tour in Munich.
John did a fantastic job not only as a guide but as someone who shares passionately about what he does and the places we visited.
The hotel that I stayed in was also recommended by him and it helped me greatly in my search for a place to stay that was centrally located and reasonable. His knowledge of Munich and the places of interest is beyond measure and he made an effort to make the tour interesting with stories and anecdotes of his own experiences.
My brief stay in Munich would not have been more complete without John's indepth and passionate guide of the place. During my next visit John will definitely be someone I will turn to for further insights into the rich history and beauty of Munich.

Dear John,
The Durdens returned home safely from their river cruise. I talked with Janice yesterday and I'm happy to report that they had a wonderful time!
Janice said they loved the cruise portion of their trip, but that their absolute favorite day was the day they spent with you! Everything was perfect.
Thank you for taking such good care of them.
Merry Christmas!
